According to my MINI, one lap around Bayonne Park's main loop is 1.3 miles. A friend of mine says the main loop is roughly a mile. So either my MINI's OBC is off (way off!), or my friend takes serious short cuts around the park. I will have to see if I can find some official stats regarding the park. Anyway...

After an all time low of eating fast foods all weekend long -- White Castle Friday, Wendy's Saturday and Burger King Sunday -- and recovering from caffeine withdrawal, I hit the gym this afternoon, then drove over to Bayonne Park to do a slow lap.

Felt OK... I forgot to stretch before I hit the pavement.
