6,741 miles - 'Dirty Jobs' Syndrome
Does anyone watch 'Dirty Jobs' on the Discovery channel? I caught a few episodes last season. The show takes the host across the country to showcase jobs that most people would rather not do; roadkill disposal, septic tank cleaner to name a few.
The point of the series is incidental. The reason why I bring up the show is because I feel I have 'Dirty Jobs' Syndrome. Now in its second year, the show's host is soliciting its viewers for potential dirty jobs to feature. Myself? I find myself asking what to write about. It has only been a few months, and I am already running out of things to blog.
For now, I have no plans to stop. I will continue to blog my adventures and observations regarding my MINI.
With any luck, the folks at 'Dirty Jobs' will manage as well. It's actually a pretty funny show.

I just read your Saturday (Nov 5) post about the choices between destination or journey. And I think you may have unlocked the question posed in this post: what should you write about.
I know that Leroy is about your car, and your experiences with your car, and that perhaps over time you will "run out" of things to talk about regarding your car. But I invite you to ponder the world of subjects out there that involve cars in general. I'd like to read about cars you've driven in the past. I'd like to read about cars you want to drive. I think Leroy will do well even if you don't want to write about Leroy at all. Keep up the writing. I do enjoy it!
thanks! FYI, I have considered writing about Gertie, my other ride. Over the past eight years of ownership, I have had some pretty funny experiences with my pick-up truck... and this blog is as good a place to note them.
America is such a car-crazy country, I should not worry so much about what to blog... inspiration comes standard! (HA - chrysler motto).
Glad to see someone is reading this blog!
