My Stab at Thursday

Thursday o Thursday, why must you be??
you're not friday, you're not monday
tis bland day for me
work today and work tomorrow
with no break do I see
but back in the day, tis must see TV
with 'Friends'! 'ER'! Paul and Helen too
what's that show called? Oh yeah...
'Mad About You'!

but if college is for some
we patiently wait...
for nightfall to come!

Then its toga toga toga!
beer! beer! beer!
party! party! party!
as the weekend draws near
Then off to home
for more weekend cheer
more revelling will abound
'till Monday appears

but alas!
college has passed...
and must see TV? It is gone.

The poem had to tie in other OL'ers' responses to what the meaning of Thursday is. I only brought in 'must see TV' and party-night for college kids.
